Since the first launch in April of this year to the present day, more than 10 thousand containers have been handled at the port of Aktau in TEU, which is 400% more than the entire period last year.
This was made possible thanks to the coordinated actions of all participants of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TMTM) and the coordination of technical and commercial aspects throughout the delivery of containers.
The bulk of cargo in containers is various goods from China to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, European countries (Italy, Romania, etc.) and vice versa.
Following strategic goals, the Aktau port in practice develops a regular container service, creating optimal conditions for interaction of partners of the multimodal chain on its section and thereby increasing the competitiveness of the entire route.
Recall that TMTM is a multimodal international transport corridor that runs through China, Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia and further to Turkey and European countries.
