Today, the General Director of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC Bidzhu Nair visited Sea port of Aktau to study its readiness for the upcoming transshipment of metal products.  Currently, due to the imposition of economic sanctions to Russian Federation, ArcelorMittal is making a research on redirection of its sales to other markets, including:

– to Europe in the direction of Aktau – Baku – Poti / Batumi – Black Sea

– transit through Iran to the UAE, Pakistan

The company has plans to ship up to 150-180 thousand tons of metal a month.

Albeit, this volume will be divided between Aktau and Kuryk ports.
