During a working trip to the Mangistau region, the Aktau port was visited by deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aldashev S.T., Chelpekov B.A., Trumov S.U.

Senators from the Mangistau region were provided with information on current production indicators and plans for the development of the country’s key maritime transport hub.

Today’s transformations in the established transport routes give reason to believe that in the very near future both the TITR route and the Iranian direction along the North-South and China-Iran-China corridors will be developed.

The total potential of the cargo base generated from different directions will converge at a key point – the Aktau port, where it will subsequently be redirected to various traffic flows.

In order to create conditions for the full-fledged servicing of promising cargo flows, the plans for the integrated development of the Aktau port provide for the implementation of the following projects:

– Сontainer hub сonstruction
– Oil berths No. 9, 10 reconstruction
– Aktau port water area dredging
– Dry cargo berths quay wall extension
– Handling equipment fleet renewal.
