Today, June 20, in the port of Aktau, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of the Transport Committee K.N. Tlepov a meeting was held with the leadership of the Maritime Administration of the ports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Maritime Navigation Center, the ports of Aktau and Kuryk and shipowners on security issues in maritime transport.

Within the framework of this meeting, issues on ensuring navigational security in the Kazakhstani sector of the Caspian Sea, security measures taken in Kazakhstani ports, dredging of the waters of the ports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and problematic issues of shipowners were considered.

The issue of introducing an alternative LRIT system through Iridium was also discussed with Darin Tel.
