As part of the expansion of investment and economic cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea, the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Busan, together with the Busan Economic Development Agency (VERA), organized a visit of a South Korean business delegation to the Mangistau region.

One of the main goals of the visit of the delegation is a detailed acquaintance with the production activities of the Aktau Sea Trade Port, as a promising transport hub in the west of Kazakhstan.

The guests, accompanied by representatives of the Department of Industrial and Innovative Development of the Mangystau Region, were met by the Chairman of the Board of JSC “Sea port of Aktau”Abay Turikpebayev, who acquainted the delegation with the activities of the port and presented long-term plans for the development of the sea harbor.

In addition, during the visit to Aktau, a bilateral logistics round table was held to discuss issues in the field of transport and logistics.
