During the conference, under the leadership of Nurkenov K.K., Deputy Chairman of the Transport Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan a meeting on safety in maritime transport was held.

Representatives of seaports, shipping companies, the operator of the North-Caspian project, classification societies, structural divisions and subordinate organizations of Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan discussed issues of ensuring the safety of navigation, improving legal regulation, as well as creating specialized systems to increase the level of safety.
