The purpose of the visit is to get to know better the key enterprises of the transport and logistics cluster of the Western region of Kazakhstan.

The high delegation of ambassadors and representatives of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Greece, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, etc.), as well as G7 countries (USA, UK and Japan) was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan R. Vasilenko.

The management of JSC “Sea port of Aktau”, headed by the Chairman of the Board Abay Turikpenbayev, gave diplomats a tour of the main sea harbor of the region. The guests inspected the oil loading berths, visited the Aktau tanker of JSC NMSK Kazmortransflot, and inspected the capacities of the grain and dry cargo terminals, as well as areas of promising development.

During the visit, the guests touched upon issues of possible cooperation in the field of green energy and investment to give a new impetus to the development of the entire domestic transport industry.
