Representatives of a large Chinese company China Harbor Engineering Company Limited (CHEC) paid an introductory visit to the seaport of Aktau.

Being a large construction and investment company, which has built and operated a number of major ports around the world, CHEC is interested in participating in the integrated development of the coastal zone of Aktau, as well as maritime infrastructure in the region.

The company’s business is represented in more than 100 countries and regions, has more than 20,000 employees, implementing hundreds of international projects, the total amount of contracts of which exceeds 40 billion US dollars.

Among the company’s projects are the world’s largest sea deep-water container port of Shanghai, the longest in the history of port construction in the world, the port of Doha (Qatar), the lock port of Israel – the port of Ashdod
