On the eve of the event to launch construction on the territory of the SEZ “Seaport Aktau” “Base of the Eurasian supply chain in Aktau”, a delegation of the mayor’s office of the city of Lianyungang visited Aktau port.

The official delegation was met by the Chairman of the Board (President) of JSC “Sea port of Aktau”  Abai Turikpenbayev, and during the acquaintance with the infrastructure of the port, he informed the guests about the current and future opportunities of the sea harbor.

The capacities of the port of Aktau will certainly be in demand for the full-scale operation of the Project, implemented by the Eastern partners in the territory of the SEZ and involving the construction of a customs logistics warehouse with the possibility of creating assembly and processing industries.

As noted by investors, the Project will improve the quality of logistics infrastructure and services in the interests of developing trade along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.

And for the formation of qualified personnel in the industry, the Project will develop and implement a vocational training program in partnership with local vocational schools. At least 120 young people will receive the basic skills needed to work in the logistics and light industry.
