On September 16, 2022, a delegation of the US Commercial Service in Kazakhstan, consisting of Trade Atache Janelle Edens and Commercial Assistant Alem Abubakirova, visited the port of Aktau.

The purpose of the visit is to identify opportunities for US companies in the transport and logistics sector to participate in the development of TITR, as well as to get acquainted with plans to modernize and increase the capacity of routes through the Caspian Sea.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that the establishment of ties between the American business community and the port of Aktau will serve as the basis for a fruitful and mutually beneficial long-term partnership in the future.
