Today, June 13, 2023, the Aktau port was visited on a study visit by the Study Group, working under the auspices of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and studying the situation with the logistics of the Central Asian corridor and the South Caucasus to identify areas of possible cooperation.

Eastern guests visited the territory of the key sea harbor of the TMTM route and visually got acquainted with all production processes and long-term development plans.

The Japanese agency JICA has been supporting the Government of Kazakhstan on the basis of the ratified Cooperation Agreement since 2005 and is responsible for coordinating projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
