On 10 March, management of JSC “Sea port of Aktau” held negotiations with the representatives of TransCom LLP wherein Mr.Yuldash Ibragimov, Chairman of the Board of TransCom LLP expressed confidence in the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation.
At the initial stage, TransCom is planning to ship through Aktau port the cargo like aluminum (600 TEU/month), ferroalloys (1,300 TEU/month), alumina (10 thousand tons/month).
For reference: TransCom LLP is a transport division of the Kazakh metallurgical corporation – Eurasian Recourses Group. It transports more than 50 million tons of cargo of the Group, which is 18% of entire transportation carried by the Kazakh railway.
The company owns more than 12,000 wagons (gondola cars, cement hoppers, pellet carriers, dump cars), 700 platforms and 1,850 containers.
