On April 15, 2021, the Akimat of Aktau city and Aktau Port signed a Memorandum of mutual cooperation to ensure labor rights and guarantees of employees.

In order to ensure maximum consideration of the interests of the parties to labor relations, in the event of economic risks for the enterprise, to ensure the stable operation of production and maintain the required production volumes, the Parties undertook the following main obligations:

Aktau Port:
– stabilization of production processes and employment;
– consideration of the forecast situation at the regional trilateral commission on social partnership;
– the transition to part-time work with a reduction in production;
– development of a system of in-house training, professional development and retraining;
Akimat of Aktau city:
– formation of a favorable environment for attracting investments and introducing innovations;
– assistance in vocational training and retraining of employees in demanded specialties.
