The first 50 containers with humanitarian cargo from China for the victims of the earthquake in Turkey arrived in Aktau port.

In total, 200 containers with tents will be delivered through the territory of Kazakhstan along the Trans-Caspian route for temporary accommodation of the victims. The prompt dispatch of the train through the territory of Kazakhstan is organized on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tokayev K. and will be carried out in a record short time – 90 hours.

After loading in Aktau port, the cargo will go through the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan, then to Georgia and further to the Turkish city of Mersin.

The use of shuttle trains allows to reduce the delivery of goods from China to the ports of Georgia by three times – the cargo will be delivered in 18 days, and to Turkey in 25 days.
