The procedure for registration of passenger vehicles and departure from the territory of JSC “Sea port of Aktau” (Aktau port)

  1. The shipping agent (representative of the shipping company), after the vehicle is completely unloaded from the ship, issues to the recipients of the cargo the original bills of lading (with a mark from the customs services on the arrival of the cargo) with an invoice and a packing list attached.
  2. The recipient of the cargo, or the representative of the consignee under the Power of Attorney (with the right to receive and process the cargo), arrives at JSC “Sea port of Aktau” Aktau port (the building of the “Sea Terminal”) to process the application, following the model of the port.

 

The recipient of the cargo or the representative of the consignee under the Power of Attorney, after filling out the application, receives calculations from the port employees, which indicate the total amount of port services payable (tariffs of Aktau port are posted on the website portaktau.kz).

For the convenience of customers, payment can be made through the Kaspi application installed on your phone by following the link “Payments” → “Purchase and orders” → “Miscellaneous” → “Aktau Commercial Sea Port”, where the appropriate fields for payment are filled.

 

After payment, the application is marked “payment made by bank transfer”

 

  1. Further, the Consignee or the representative of the consignee, under the Power of Attorney, draws up an application in the controlling services.
  2. Controlling services on the application affix the following marks:

– at the customs services – 3 seals (entry allowed; exit allowed, personal stamp of a customs officer).

– at the border services – 1 stamp entry / exit allowed.

 

Note:

To obtain a customs stamp for exit, you must provide the original import declaration, which is issued by a customs broker.

If it is impossible to issue an import declaration, within the terms of the Republic of Kazakhstan established by the Legislation, i.e. no later than the 1st working day from the date of arrival of the cargo, the vehicle must be placed in a temporary storage warehouse located in Aktau port.

 

To place the cargo at the temporary storage warehouse, you must contact the employee of the temporary storage warehouse, located in the building of the “Sea Terminal”, provide a bill of lading and fill out an application for the placement of cargo on the temporary storage warehouse (Sample from the specialist of the temporary storage warehouse).

 

  1. Given that the port of Aktau is a hazardous production facility, port customers need to undergo an introductory safety briefing at the Occupational Health and Safety Service, located next to the administrative building No. 2
  2. The recipient of the cargo or the representative of the consignee under the Power of Attorney, after the final execution of the application, to receive vehicles at the Cargo warehouse, presents the following package of documents:
  3. Original Application for entry/exit/departure of vehicles
  4. Original Bill of Lading
  5. Original power of attorney for the representative of the consignee (or a notarized copy)
  6. Identity document (copy)
  7. Police Vehicle Certificate, Invoice (notarized copies if needed).
