As part of the Transport Week, at the site of the 26th Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Transport and Logistics-2023”, the International Conference “Development of Ports, Terminals and Shipping in the Caspian Sea” was held, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the seaport of Aktau.

At the plenary sessions of the Conference, leaders and experts from line ministries, associations and ports discussed cases of projects for the modernization of domestic ports, the development strategy of TITR, including digital solutions on the route, as well as the creation of new digital corridors.

As Abay Turikpenbaev, Chairman of the Board of JSC “Sea port of Aktau”, noted in his speech, development in the era of digitalization requires flexibility and readiness not only to adapt to changes, but also to actively use new opportunities to solve problems, using technical knowledge, creativity and innovative thinking.

In the second part of the Conference, a foresight session “Expert Opinion” was held, with the participation of recognized experts in the field of transport, at which an exchange of views took place on the results of the International Exhibition and Transport Week in general.

TransLogistica Kazakhstan is the largest exhibition of transport and logistics services and technologies in Central Asia, the second most important and attended in the CIS and Baltic countries.

This year, 225 companies from 17 countries presented their stands.
