Today, October 18, 2021, within the framework of the visit of the 2nd International Exhibition and Conference “Caspian Ports and Shipping – 2021”, a delegation of the World Bank Representatives in the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by the Resident Representative of the Bank Jean-Francois Marteau, visited the Mangistau region.

The foundation of the partnership between Kazakhstan and the World Bank Group is the Partnership Framework Agreement prepared in consultation with partners and civil society to shape a new investment program of technical assistance to the Government for 2020-2025.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of forecasting a decrease in the level of the Caspian Sea, as well as the promotion by Aktau port of the OSCE project on obtaining the status of “Green Port”.
